Heat milk.
2 cups milk
Sift cocoa powder if packed and lumpy.
1 tbsp cocoa powder
Add cocoa powder and maple syrup to warm milk.
1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp maple syrup
Whisk together until well mixed and heated to desired temperature. Remove from heat.
2 cups milk, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp maple syrup
In another bowl, add heavy cream with a splash of vanilla and a drizzle of honey. Whip until stiff peaks form. I use a hand mixer. 1/4 cup cream
Pour hot chocolate in a mug and spoon whipped cream on top.
Sip and savor!
