Welcome
Do you have a moment? I’m really glad you’re here.
Life is hard, and crazy, and wonderous. You have your own story that goes along with that statement. So do I.
Mine has included being homeschooled, living on the pipeline during my pre-teens, joining an Anabaptist church at age 16, struggling with anxiety and depression, and dealing with elusive health problems.
My testimony through it all is that God has been faithful and kind and merciful, even in the hardest and darkest and strangest of times.
I can’t and don’t claim to understand even a small part of the Big Picture God is making, but I do know that “all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose…”
Not because of who we are or what we’ve done, but because of God’s character. I’ve seen it for myself!
His Word has guided my life, and this endeavor is no different.
“I pray that the faith you share with us may deepen your understanding of every blessing that belongs to you in Christ.
I have had great joy and encouragement because of your love, for the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
So, although I have quite a lot of confidence in Christ and could command you to do what is proper, I would rather appeal to you on the basis of love…”
Philemon 6-9
Walking with God in His grace.
Coming to understand just a little bit more every day the sweetness of His blessings.
It’s made every moment so much more meaningful and beautiful.
With joy.
With encouragement.
With refreshment of heart.
In the presence of the King.
That’s how I want to live.
I’m taking a chance, but I wonder if that’s how you want to live too.
That’s why I’m inviting you on this journey.
As a friend cheering you on, by showing you it’s possible, through the blood and sacrifice and intercession of Jesus Christ.
It’s not perfect. But it’s gloriously, victoriously possible.
