Welcome

You’ve found a quiet place for your soul to breathe. Here, we gather truth, beauty, and grace—woven through Scripture, stories, and simple living. Whether you’re a young woman building your spiritual foundation or a sister seeking encouragement for the journey, I write to encourage hearts and uplift eyes to Christ.

Blessed Pleasance invites you to think on what is true, live intentionally, and grow in faith. Every post is a gentle step toward becoming a woman who reflects Christ in every area of life—covered and sustained by His grace.

Mission

Blessed Pleasance is a faith-centered journal devoted to cultivating a life of beauty, discernment, and grace—especially for women seeking to build strong spiritual foundations. Rooted in the truth of Philippians 4:8–9 and Colossians 2:8, and shaped by the wisdom of Proverbs 31 and Titus 2:3–5, it exists to encourage daily faithfulness, biblical conviction, and intentional living.

Through devotionals, testimonies, natural living practices, and curated resources, I share what the Lord has been teaching me—inviting women to think on what is true, walk in victory, and live beautifully in light of God’s Word. May we become women who reflect Christ in every area of life, covered and sustained by His grace.

Blessed Pleasance Topics

Books

Books and publishers chosen in light of Philippians 4:8–9—reflecting what is true, honorable, and praiseworthy.

Reading is something I have loved since kindergarten, and I know from experience how difficult it can be to find upbuilding literature. I’ll share my favorite titles, what I’m currently reading, as well as publishers that are committed to Biblical principles.

Natural Living

Natural living filtered through the lens of biblical stewardship—sustainable, ethical, and intentional.

This section is where I’ll be sharing what I’ve been learning about skincare, hygiene products, household herbalism, and clothing. All based in God’s design and stewarding well the gifts He has graciously given.

Devotionals

Reflections on Scripture, grace, and daily faith—led by God’s Spirit.

These are thoughts on what God has recently been showing me in His Word and through daily life. I can take no credit for His Spirit working through me; the praise and honor belong only to Him. But I really hope that they remind you that God is faithful and encourage your heart to rest in His grace and walk in His ways!

Recipes

Wholesome meals inspired by tradition—simple, nourishing, and grounded in God’s provision.

I love history. And the history surrounding food, and its preparation, is no exemption! The recipes you will find on this blog will be focused on nourishing your body to the fullest and embracing whole, clean, simple ingredients. Good food can be simple and delicious!

Testimonies

Stories of faithful lives—encouraging deeper love, service, and steadfast trust in God.

As I said before, I love history! History that is both encouraging and hopeful, not simply fascinating, is even better. The testimonies of men and women who loved and served God in vastly different landscapes inspire greater love and service in my own life. And it’s my desire that it do the same in yours.

My Prayer

That God would use this little corner of the Internet to minister to hurting and longing hearts. “For the law of the life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

That you would be inspired and motivated in your daily walk with the Lord. “I rejoice in the lifestyle prescribed by your rules as if they were riches of all kinds…I find delight in your statutes; I do not forget your instructions.” Psalm 119:14,16

That your appetite for God’s Word and His Ways would be continually growing and satisfied. “As a deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.” Psalm 42:1

That your desire for the world would lessen as you fill your mind and heart with the wonders of Christ’s Glory. “Do not love the world or the things in the world. if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,” 1 John 2:15

That you would think, live, and rest in the peace of Christ. “Peace, I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.” John 14:27

May every word shared here draw you nearer to Christ, and may your life reflect His glory more fully with each passing day.
